The Godox VL200 LED Video Light is a lightweight, compact, monolite-style light source ideal for portrait, still life, location photography, and video applications. It features a daylight-balanced COB LED with a CRI rating of 96 and a TLCI rating of 95, ensuring highly accurate color reproduction and lifelike flesh tones.
The VL200's light body is powered via an external controller, keeping the unit itself lightweight and compact. It operates quietly with a whisper-quiet fan and includes a Bowens-style reflector mount, making it compatible with various light modifiers.
The controller box includes dual V-mount battery plates and an LCD display with easy-to-use controls and a command dial for local adjustments. You can also adjust settings wirelessly using a separately-available radio remote or the GodoxPhoto app, available for free on iOS and Android devices.
By moving the V-mount battery plates and controls to a separate control box, the light can be positioned easily without added bulk. The control box comes with a 4-pin XLR power cable for convenient placement and includes antennas for the radio remote and Bluetooth connectivity.
