Returns & Refunds
We want you to be happy with your purchase. This policy explains how returns work at Massive Discounts. It does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
30-day returns (change of mind)
- You can return most items within 30 days of delivery for any reason. This is longer than the 14-day cancellation period required by law.
- To start a return, sign in to your account (with the email you used to order), open your order and click Request return. You can also email contact@massivediscounts.co.uk with your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
- If you return an item because you changed your mind, you pay the cost of return postage. Please use a tracked service and keep your proof of postage.
- Please return the item with all parts, accessories and manuals, and in its original packaging where possible. You can handle the item as you would in a shop to check it. If the item has been used or handled beyond that, or is returned damaged or incomplete, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.
- We refund the price of the item and the cost of standard delivery. If you chose DHL Next Day delivery, the extra cost above standard delivery is not refunded.
Faulty, damaged or wrong items
- If your item arrives faulty, damaged, incorrect or with missing parts, start a return and choose the reason, or contact us as soon as possible.
- Please email photos or a short video of the fault to contact@massivediscounts.co.uk with your order number in the subject line. Once we have confirmed the fault, we will send you a free prepaid return label.
- We will offer a full refund (including original delivery costs), a replacement or a repair, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have 30 days from delivery to reject a faulty item for a full refund. After that, you are still entitled to a repair or replacement, and in some cases a refund, if the item develops a fault it should not have.
- Every return is checked when it arrives. If an item returned as faulty is working when we test it, it is treated as a change-of-mind return and return postage is not refunded.
Item condition (New, Open-Box and Used)
Each listing shows the condition of the item:
- New – brand new and unused, in original packaging.
- Open-Box – new and unused, but the box has been opened or may be damaged or resealed. Any cosmetic marks are described in the listing.
- Used – previously used and in working order unless stated otherwise. Signs of use are described in the listing.
Open-Box and Used items are covered by this returns policy and by your statutory rights, assessed against the condition described in the listing.
Items we cannot accept back
- Sealed hygiene or personal care products (for example cosmetics, earphones or intimate items) if the seal has been broken after delivery.
- Perishable goods and items made or personalised to your specification.
This does not apply if the item is faulty or not as described.
Refunds
- We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item (or proof that you have sent it back), using your original payment method.
- Your bank may take a few extra working days to show the refund on your account.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. Please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.
Cancelling an order
- You can cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched, by requesting a cancellation in your account or by emailing us, and we will refund you in full.
- We may cancel an order only if the item is out of stock, if there was an obvious pricing or listing error, or if we suspect fraud. If this happens, we will tell you and refund you in full.
